Hello Moose!

Today we were delighted to host the Hampshire Young People's Chorus for a wonderful concert! It was a warm and lovely concert and brightened our chilly winter Friday! We thank the HYPC for coming to SES!

Please remember to send students to school with snow-play attire. If you need assistance with procuring snow attire, please contact Nurse Katie and she can assist you in getting snow pants, boots and waterproof gloves. The students LOVE playing and frolicking in the snow at recess. It is a joy to see them making snow forts, sledding, and creating snow people.

Ms. Samm is hard at work planning our spring school musical revue. For the spring, she has chosen SEUSSICAL! Get ready for some bright colors and fun music!

We do not have school on Monday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We look forward to seeing students back at school on Tuesday the 21st!

 Church Thanks

The Shutesbury Community Church collected a large donation of new and gently used winter coats, boots, hats, and gloves for our school and community. I now have a large collection of winter items. If you are in need of any of these items or know of anyone who is, please let me know and I’d be happy to get you what you need. A very big thank you to Mark Ellis and the members of the Shutesbury Community Church in the center of town.
