NO SCHOOL, Thanksgiving Break
November 15, 2019
Dear Moose,
It’s been a busy, short week here at school. The winter weather is moving in and we appreciate you sending your child in with warmer, winter clothes. If it is above 12 degrees (wind chill considered) we go outdoors for recess so coats, hats, mittens, and boots are a must! Please see Nurse Katie if your child needs any help with winter clothes.
School Picture Make-Up Day is next Tuesday. If you would like a retake of your child’s photo, please send in the original package on that date. Bus Evacuation is next Thursday. This is a great chance to practice school bus safety. Bus drivers and school staff will help the students understand how to safely exit the bus in case of an emergency.
Next Friday, November 22 the 4th - 6th grades will be attending a performance of Annie at Ja’Duke. Thanks, Ms. Samm, for setting up this great opportunity in preparation for our own SES performance of Annie.
The 6th Grade and some Moose on the Move Participants will be walking in the March for Hunger for the Food Bank of Western MA on Tuesday, November 26. You can support them by sending in your spare change for the cause and tune in to 93.9FM The River on Tuesday, November 26 to hear the broadcast!
And then it’s Thanksgiving Break! The month is flying by!
Enjoy!
Jackie
