Principal’s Message:

We started this week off with a BANG!

Our physical education teacher, Michelle Borkhuis, with the help of Mary Taylor, Greg Thompson, Rebecca Addison, John Saporito, Jessi Conrad, Kristen Andrews and SES staff ran a super duper Field Day event.  Relays, face painting, tagging, chasing and dancing. We even had a special visit from “Rosie the Pirate”: a very tall, nefarious character sporting a pair of glossy red boots!  Mama Nature also lent her support by delaying the rain until just after dismissal. Thanks Mama!  Jess and I were a tag team on the Bucket Brigade water station and running the office (somebody’s gotta do it). It was so much fun to get out there and see the kids playing together, laughing and creating lasting memories. Good fun! Thanks to the PTO for the watermelon and thanks to all those who helped make it a safe, fun and successful event.

Warm regards,

Maureen Ryan

WHAT: 10 library books, due when students return to school

WHEN: Thursday, June 19th and Friday, June 20th

Permission slips were sent home with students this week. If you need another, or have questions, email Ms. L. at [email protected].

*Please check the lost and found in the office and in the cubbies near the cafeteria for items your child/ren may have left behind.  All of the lost items will be donated to the Salvation Army at the end of the school year.

*The cafeteria is low on spoons and forks again!  Please check your kitchen to see if you have any mis-matched utensils that might belong to the school and send them in soon.  Thank you!
