Students Full Day, In-Person Learning!
March 19, 2021
Dear SES Community,
I invite you all to join me virtually on Monday, March 22 and 6:30 pm to listen to some of the plans we have regarding the transition to full day learning on April 5th. I will review some of our thinking regarding lunch, schedules and learning. I will not be able to have all the answers to all the questions you may have quite yet, but I can try to answer major questions from caregivers. Here is the information to connect virtually or by phone:

Many community members have asked how many students will be in person vs. remote. All families have responded to our survey request. As of right now, 95% of SES students are attending full day in-person learning beginning on April 5th. Each class has 0,1, or 2 students that will continue learning remotely. As mentioned previously, due the high demand of in-person learners, the remote programming will look and feel a little different. I will explain some of that on Monday.
Earlier today, the Union 28 Leadership Team emailed a letter reiterating our stance on anti-racism and our solidarity with our Asian community members. We have attached the letter here again for your review.
Sincerely,
Jackie
